At The Canadian Courage Project, our goal is to support youth with animal companions transitioning out of shelters and into independent housing. We use various ways to achieve this goal:
Wellness departure care packages: We provide youth in transition with wellness kits filled with essential items. These items provide them with the necessary items to promote courage within them through their journey towards empowerment, relief, and freedom.
Youth shelter workshops: We offer Art & Mindfulness workshops to youth under the age of 18 residing in shelters across Ontario. This helps ignite their creativity and mindfulness which contributes to their overall well-being.
In-class workshops: We believe that supporting any community starts by building its youth. We offer a 1-hour Sustainable Development Goal Careers and Empowerment workshop to students across Ontario. This is a stepping stone for us to build every student to be an ambassador who promotes the welfare of our community and becomes another beacon of hope and development to our society.
Your donation will help us reach our goal of building a more equitable world! A community where we promote courage, empowerment, and relief for youth facing structural vulnerabilities.
