INTRODUCING THE 17 SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT GOALS GRADE 10 CAREER STUDIES WORKSHOP
This workshop works to enhance the current education curriculum offering students information on global health issues that occur right in our own backyard. We have seen first hand the way students negatively associate their 40 hours of community service, and the volunteering within their region. Our goal is to provide resources and information about how the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals can be integrated into every line of work.
“We know that youth are the future and we want to provide them with the tools and skills to recognize that small actions ripple into possibilities of extraordinary change! With our workshop, we hope to fill the gap in the education system in regards to the disparities in our local communities and empower youth to be agents of change by acting locally, while thinking globally.”
