At The Canadian Courage Project, our goal is to support youth with animal companions transitioning out of shelters and into independent housing.
We have various initiatives to achieve our mission...

We provide youth in transition with wellness kits filled with essential items. These items provide them with the necessary items to promote courage within them through their journey towards empowerment, relief, and freedom.

With support from our contributors, we built this community pantry to help fill a resource gap within the community. We provide several resources such as food, hygienic items, pet supplies and other essential items.

We provide pet supplies such as toys, food, and certified care guides for dogs and cats to spread awareness of responsible pet ownership and support youth facing ownership stress and youth facing structural vulnerabilities.

We offer Mindfulness & Art workshops to youth under the age of 18 residing in shelters across Ontario. This helps ignite their creativity and mindfulness which contributes to their overall well-being.
